If it wasn't for President Clinton using his veto pen in 1995 to veto legislation authorizing drilling in ANWAR, and if it wasn't for the Democrats in Congress and the Senate blocking every effort to allow drilling, prices could be down $2 per gallon and that would reduce the amount of sales tax collected by our state.
