Love the sinner, hate the sin

Editor: The United States was founded upon Christian principles as found in the King James Bible.

I believe those who are submitted to the lordship of Jesus should love sinners who practice sodomy and hate what they do.

The Christian Republic called California is populated by many men and women who have been healed by Jesus of their confusion, often ingrained into them by persistent child abuse even at 2 years or younger.

It is none of my business if two men or two women want to share living accommodations. However, those who practice sodomy very often prey upon young children. That is abominable and should not be tolerated.

It is not necessary for people to pretend to marry, for women to pretend to be men, to share living accommodations. It is necessary and right for Christians to love sinful neighbors and it is wrong for Christians to tolerate sinful behavior.

George Washington: "One's god dictates the kind of law one implements and also controls the application and development of that law over time. Given enough time, all non-Christian systems of law self-destruct in a fit of tyranny."

" I get emails, unsolicited ones, from him about once a month. I even have asked to be removed and still get them. Typical Christian, thinks we should all be one. I'll give him credit though, he does put in the effort. "

" Sorry to burst your bubble, Fred. George Washington was a Deist, not a Christian. "

" “The United States was founded upon Christian principles as found in the King James Bible.”

This is a lie; have you ever read the Constitution, Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence or the treaty with Tripoli?

“However, those who practice sodomy very often prey upon young children.”

How did you stumble upon this “fact”, firsthand knowledge or just an assumption? "

38 Things

I know, I know. It’s been a long time. But I’m back on the blogs again and thanks to my coverage of education I’ve got something to say in light of tomorrow’s holiday. (haha, I rhyme, and get ready, because this is going to be cheesy). So, in school, the teachers typically have their students write [...]

Faith in the ruins

I interviewed an 85-year-old woman on Monday. I will surely never hear “young man” as much as I did for the hour I talked with Merry Loo. “Young man,” she said. “Go out there and find a wife.” Go out and find a wife. Procreate. Buy a house. Be civic minded. Treat people with fairness, honesty and [...]

Fearful Football Forecast: Week 12

Are some of these leagues getting so predictable that even I can predict them right? I was just doing last week’s totals and can’t believe I again nailed just about all of them. The one miss, the Cowboys, of course. I generally haven’t fared well in these things at other papers, seriously! 13-1 again, now [...]

The poison of ideology

Ideology is often the bane of this blog. I say this at the risk of alienating some of the most frequent commentators. But it needs to be said: Ideology is one of the great poisons of the modern age, remnants of which survive into the postmodern world we now live in. For evidence, just read some of the [...]
