Arson suspects are firefighters

(5:56 p.m. Tuesday)

Authorities have confirmed that the two men who were arrested on arson-related charges at the Laton Fire Department Monday evening are members of the volunteer department. Christopher Michael Furtado, 27, an accountant from Hanford, is the assistant fire chief.

Teddy Gerald Lee, 23, of Laton, also identifies himself as a firefighter on his MySpace Web page.

It seems like every year, they relate a big fire to a firefighter. Its the best job for these sickos (arsonist). "
