Info session on alternative education set for Monday

HANFORD -- California Virtual Academies will host a back-to-school event on Monday at Hanford's Freedom Park at 9 1/4 Avenue and Leland Way. It is a casual event, ushering school back into session, and is open to current students and potentially interested families.

The event will be an opportunity for families interested in a virtual school to find out more and talk to existing students. Enrollment for the 08-09 school year is still open. Monday's event will begin at 9 a.m. More information on the school is available at www.caliva.org.
