Another Armona response

Editor: I'm responding to the article of Oct. 28, by Margarita Alcala and Lisa Chavarin. They accused three Armona Elementary board members of nepotism, which is not illegal. If they had bothered to check the facts before making false statements, they would have found that two of the people they referred to were hired before these three members were elected to the school boards. The other two were hired at the recommendation of the superintendent because they were the most qualified.
