Moon Festival entertains the crowds

The 30th Annual Moon Festival Saturday in China Alley attracted hundreds of people. The event featured Cal Poly's Chinese Lion Dancers, a Kings Martial Arts Academy demonstration and tours of the Taoist Temple and Museum. There were food and craft booths, tea and cookies in the garden, Taiko drummers, a display by the Hanford Bonsai Society and a special book signing by children's author Virginia Walton Pilegard.

The festival is sponsored by the Taoist Temple Preservation Society.
