Annual Shinzen Cultural Faire

FRESNO -- Experience the Japanese culture with performances by the Gumyo-Taiko Drummers, Koto player (Japanese harp), Aikido Martial Arts and Japanese Dancers from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Shinzen Friendship Garden at Woodward Park, corner of Friant Road and Audobon Street.

A Certified Tea Mistress will conduct an authentic tea ceremony at the Japanese Tea House. There will be a Bonsai display and demonstration. Fish painting for children, Haiku (poetry) contest and local artists and photographers displays and sales. Tree raffle, food and more.

Saturday: $3 for ages 15+, $1 for ages 4-14 and children under 4 years are free.

The Fall Color Festival on Sunday is from 10 a.m. to dusk. It is an opportunity to view the beauty of the season and enjoy natural photography in the unique and treasured setting.

Sunday: $3 for ages 15 and up, 50 cents for ages 4-14 and seniors. Children under 4 years old are free.
