Downtown Hanford Christmas parade slated for Nov. 27

Hanford's annual Christmas parade through downtown is scheduled for Nov. 27. This year's theme is "A Storybook Christmas."

The entry deadline for floats or other participants is today. For event categories and to fill out an entry form, go to www.hanfordchristmas.org and click on "Christmas Lights Parade."

Awards include $100 for best theme, $100 for best lights and $150 for the Agnes Teixiera Memorial Sweepstakes.

The parade starts at 6 p.m.
