The Allies Against Asthma Health Fair will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the Hanford Mall.
The third annual event, which is held in conjunction with Asthma Awareness Month in May, will feature free asthma screenings, asthma and allergy information and opportunities to speak one-on-one with a doctor or other health care provider. There will also be prize drawings, children’s activities and music.

| Adventist Health Holds Annual Wreath Memorial Service |

HANFORD – Adventist Health Home Care and Hospice Services cordially invites families and loved ones to honor patients who passed away the previous year. The annual Wreath Memorial Service will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at the BEC Auditorium in Hanford Community Medical Center.
During the ceremony, families are encouraged to read a favorite memory of a deceased loved one and then tie the card to a wreath. Traditionally, the ceremony has been very moving and a beautiful tribute to those who have passed away.
